How to set it up in WhatsApp Business
- Open WhatsApp Business and go to Settings โ Business tools.
- Choose Greeting message or Away message and turn it on.
- Paste the message you copied. For an away message, choose when to send it: always, on a custom schedule or outside of business hours. Then save.
These settings exist only in the WhatsApp Business app, not in regular WhatsApp.

What's the difference between a greeting message and an away message?
A greeting message goes to anyone who writes to the business for the first time, or after 14 days without messages. An away message goes out when the business isn't available: after hours, on vacation or on a holiday.
Why add a booking link to the message?
So nobody has to wait for an answer: the appointment gets booked on its own, even at night or on the weekend, and doesn't go to a competitor.
