Accessibility Statement
Statement updated: 9/29/2026
1. Our commitment to accessibility
BookMe1 works to make this website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in line with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and guided by the Israeli Standard (IS 5568), which corresponds to WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
2. Adjustments made on this site
The site includes an accessibility widget that lets you: increase or decrease text size, switch to high-contrast mode, switch to grayscale mode, highlight links and headings, use a more readable font, and stop animations. The site also supports keyboard navigation with a clear focus outline. You can also turn on inverted colors and a larger mouse cursor.
Pages have a "Skip to main content" link, a clear heading structure, labels on the sign-up and sign-in form fields, and status messages that screen readers announce.
3. Level of compliance
The latest review was done on September 29, 2026: a self-review of keyboard navigation, field labels, heading structure and the skip link, on desktop and at mobile screen width. We keep improving and aim for full compliance with the standard. These are the gaps we currently know of and are working on:
- Help Center pages do not yet have a "Skip to main content" link.
- Some screenshots on the home page have English-only alternative text, in all languages.
- In the Arabic version, the site font does not include Arabic letters, so the device's fallback font is shown.
- Content that businesses upload to their booking pages themselves (logos, images, descriptions), and third-party pages such as PayPal and Sign in with Google, are not fully under our control.
